I wanted to share that it is Sammie’s one year anniversary with us and it is also her b-day coming up as she turns two. A lot has happened to us in the last past year. We realize that we needed her just as much as she needed us and what did we ever did before we had her. is beyond us. We also learnt that it takes time for dogs to trust…we learnt that it can take some months for a dog to adjust to their new home after they are adopted out later in life…but with lots of patience/love and perseverance ended up with the best dog ever. She loves everything and anyone that walks through our door and is quite an amazing dog, her true colours have shined through. People should give it time for a dog to grow and trust.
We took her to a family reunion this summer and there were so many children and animals around…we received compliments galore on our sweet Sammie. We just wanted to take this time to thank Save my tail rescue for your undevoted time and devotion to these precious dogs. You guys are amazing and be sure to know that all your hard work is much appreciated. No one will really truly know the hard work that goes on behind the scenes until they experience it for themselves, so for that, our hats go off.
Maeve is totally enjoying life on the east coast in Nova Scotia!!! I don’t think we could of found a more perfect match for her! This little girl is the absolute best! We’re in love…and more importantly, Pedro (our first dog) is in love too! They got on famously from the get go! Play play play. Collapse. Play, play, play. We took them to our little beach and she practically lost her mind. I’ve never seen a dogs tail wag so hard and so fast. I half expected it to fly off. She likes dog yoga with Dad. And naps with Dad. And Dad. Just the cutest little scruffs ever.
